The Baret Signet Ring is a special one to the State Property family. Designed originally as the founder’s engagement ring, but also perfect as a contemporary cocktail ring, the Baret features a brilliant pear-cut diamond set upon an elongated cushion-shaped face of enamel. Baret is named after Jeanne Baret, a member of Louis Antoine de Bougainville's expedition on the ships La Boudeuse and Étoile in 1766–1769. She is recognized as the first woman to have completed a voyage of circumnavigation of the globe.
