Paradise Flower Ring Small Blue Chalcedony Ethiopian Opal

The flower on this iconic Sophie Joanne ring is hand-carved from pink opal by an expert artisan, using an age-old, wood-carving technique.  Pink Opal is good for creativity, communication, and the courage to speak your mind.

The ring is set with a cabochon-cut Ethiopian opal, which symbolizes grounding for the emotional body.

The shape of the flower was inspired by the works of Maruja Mallo (1942), who is known for her exploration of femininity and nature, through surrealist and abstract paintings. 

This piece is handmade from 14-karat recycled gold in SJ's Atelier in Amsterdam. All gemstones are natural and hand carved, therefore there may be a slight variation in color, shape, and weight of the product.
