Paradise Flower Pendant XL Yttrium Fluorite Ethiopian Opal

The flower on this iconic Sophie Joanne ring is hand-carved from yttrium fluorite by an expert artisan, using an age-old, wood-carving technique.Yttrium fluorite is believed to have a calming effect on the mind and body. It is helping to reduce stress and promote feelings of tranquility.

The pendant is set with a cabochon-cut Ethiopian opal, which symbolizes grounding for the emotional body.

The shape of the flower was inspired by the works of Maruja Mallo (1942), who is known for her exploration of femininity and nature, through surrealist and abstract paintings. 

This piece is handmade from 14-karat recycled gold in SJ's Atelier in Amsterdam. All gemstones are natural and hand carved, therefore there may be a slight variation in color, shape, and weight of the product.
