Paradise Flower Pendant Small Blue Opal Ethiopian Opal

The flower on this iconic Sophie Joanne ring is hand-carved from blue opal by an expert artisan, using an age-old, wood-carving technique. Blue Opal is good for creativity, communication, and the courage to speak your mind. The pendant is set with cabochon cut Ethiopian opal, which symbolizes grounding for the emotional body.

The shape of the flower was inspired by the works of Maruja Mallo (1942), who is known for her exploration of femininity and nature, through surrealist and abstract paintings.
